lyrics
It reveals its branches
I’m trapped in the roots
Twisting, changing
No clear path in view
The light beyond the labyrinth
Occluded by its limbs
Complex shifting structures
The dawn forever dims
May I see it clear
May I find my way
May I catch a glimpse
And feel the warmth of day
In dark corridors I search for light
Saturating darkness, losing sight

After listening to Ysyry Mollvün, listening to Downfall of Nur was urgent and turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in quite some time: Umbras de Barbagia is simply magisterial; the atmosphere can hardly be compared to anything else. There is a deep, palpable connection to nature imbueing each very fibre of this record. The amalgamation of black metal and folk elements is done with a high intuition for detail and class, resulting in a highly immersive experience. Wonderful. David Fischer

This sounds exactly how I want black metal to sound. I have spent a long time searching for it but this is precisely what I was looking for. homocarbonis

Jordan Vauvert
